♫ I am honored to have received the Henry Russel Award, Michigan's highest honor for faculty members at the early to mid-career stages of their careers.

♫ My monograph Singing Like Germans was awarded the 2022 Ralph J. Gleason Music Book Award, selected by the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, New York University’s Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music, and The Pop Conference.
